B. Beautiful Gifts is a child care center that provides daycare
services exclusively for children with special needs between the
ages of 3 years to 13 years old.
C. Children with Special Needs means: Those children evaluated as
having autism, developmental delay, a hearing impairment which may
include deafness. Multiple disabilities, an orthopedic impairment,
a serious emotional disturbance, a specific learning disorder, a
speech or language impairment, a traumatic brain, injury, or visual
impairment, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Behavior disability
and Down Syndrome and Educable Mentally Retarded.
Mission Statement
We believe all children at Beautiful Gifts Childcare Center should
learn to:
Become more independent. Children will
learn to make informed choices and decisions and act independently,
without any further prompting, on their decisions.
Give, share, and receive affection.
Children should begin to build a foundation for bonding
with one another and making friends.
Get along with others. Children will experience
working in groups, taking turns, thinking about others, and multi-cultural
acceptance.
Develop Self Control. As each child experiences
making choices and decisions; positive outcomes will be reinforced.
Begin understanding their bodies.
Good health, hygiene, and nutrition habits will be incorporated
in the Center's Curriculum.
Develop motor skills. Those children who
need to enhance their gross and fine motor skills will be provided
ample opportunities to do so.
Begin to understand and control their environment.
Each child should be able to find and use information,
learn to understand cause and effect, and should be curious.
Develop their receptive and expressive languages.
Each child will practice expansive verbal and, in some cases non-verbal,
languages. Children will be taught to develop their communication
skills and expressive language.

will constantly strive to implement activities which will help our
children build solid foundations for the future.
